Last Sunday Wubya and I traveled to the Highlight Factory to catch the opening game of the best of seven (7) series between the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat. The Hawks came out like gang busters and beat the brakes off the Heat. The Birds held all-star Dwyane Wade only 19 points and Miami looked all but dead. Unfortunately, the Hawks lost their hard earned home court advantage when they lost the second (2nd) game of the series. The Hawks lose again and get beat down 107-78.
Today the Hawks looked awful and Miami’s D-Wade looked like the all-star he is as he burned the Hawks for 29 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Unfortunately, the Birds own all-star, Joe Johnson, played nothing like it as he finished with 10 points, 3 assist, and 5 turnovers. If the Hawks want to win this series, their going to have to find a way to stop D-Wade and Joe Johnson is going to have to learn to take over a game and get others involved.
