Vote Barack Obama!

Last Saturday I cast my vote for the Barack Obama / Joe Biden ticket! It was an amazing sight to see so many people standing in line and actually exercising their right to vote. As of today, the AJC reports that approximately 2 million of Georgia’s 5.7 million registered votes or about 35% of Georgians have cast their advanced ballot.

Although the Peach State is very much Republican, I believe the top of the Democrat ticket may have a fighting chance to either win the state or at least make it competitive. I base this on the fact that people are slowly but surely realizing that the current status quo isn’t working as people are losing jobs and people want a president and vice president that are ready to address the challenging issues of the present with pragmatic reason.
