Tornado Hits Atlanta

I turn on the local Milwaukee news this morning and was shocked to learn that downtown Atlanta was hit by a tornado last night. The areas hit the hardest were the CNN Center, the Omni Hotel and the Georgia Dome. Although I have lots of family and friends who live in the metro area, this hits extremely close to home as Swamps has been participating at a dental conference at the Omni Hotel since Thursday. Fortunately, she had returned to Conyers prior to the tornado hitting, so she’s okay, but some of her dental colleagues were affected by the storm.

My prayers are with those who were affected by the tornado.
