The fine folks at Chick-fil-A announced on Friday that the Georgia Bulldogs will open next season in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta, Georgia against the Boise State Broncos! The Blue Turf Boys have become a perennial powerhouse who are in the middle of a 24-game winning streak.
I realize that UGA's been down for the last two years, but this will be a good opportunity for the Dawgs to play on national television and hopefully get a win against BCS bowl caliber team. Heck, if Alabama beats Auburn this weekend and/or Auburn losses to South Carolina, the Dawgs may be starting the season off against the defending national champs. For those who question the Bulldogs' ability to beat the Broncos, let flashback to September 3, 2005 when UGA beat them 48-13 and everybody thought Boise State was going to have a "breakout game" Between the Hedges. It didn't happen then, it won't happen in 2012. Go Dawgs!
