Happy Trials Bulldog Alums

Not only did the Bulldogs lose today, but former Georgia football alums D.J. Shockley and Thomas Brown lost individually as the Atlanta Falcons released both players prior to the start of the season. I was pulling for my local Georgia guys, especially Shockley because of his outstanding play as a Bulldog. As a senior, Shockley competed 153 of 277 passes for 2,311 yards and 21 touchdowns and led the Bulldogs to a SEC Championship in 2005. Shockley is eligible for the Atlanta practicing squad, so there is an outside possibility that he’ll be picked up. If not, Shockley will probably try his luck with another NFL team. Good luck Shock!
