Back to the Playoffs

I know Atlanta is a football town, but the Hawks have done what the Falcons haven’t done in recent memory, make it to the playoffs in back to back seasons. The Hawks clinched a playoff berth on March 25 as Milwaukee, Charlotte, and New Jersey lost. Currently, the Baby Birds hold the fourth (4th) seed in the Eastern Conference which comes with home-court advantage.

Tomorrow the Hawks host the Lakes at the Highlight Factory. This should be a good game as the Birds play strong at home and the Lakers are probably the best team in the west. Several years ago I caught the Lakers when they came to town; Shaq still played for them then. The arena was bananas. Unfortunately, the Hawks were bad at the time, the Lakers were good, and a majority of the fans were cheering for the away team, except for me and a handful of other guys. Although the Birds lost, I had a good time. Hopefully, I’ll get to go to a game soon.
