#2 Georgia 56, Central Michigan 17

The Georgia Bulldogs played with purpose as they used outstanding defense and offense to defeat the Central Michigan Chippewas. Running back Knowshon Moreno continued to make his early case for Heisman consideration as he rushed for 168 yards and 3 touchdowns. Additionally, Moreno made perhaps one of the most amazing plays I’ve ever seen (pictured above) – he literally jumped over a standing player in route to a 29 yard rush. Quarterbacks Matthew Stafford added to the fun by going 18 of 28 for 213 yards and 2 touchdowns and backup quarterback Joe Cox went 5 of 5 for 76 yards. Wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi caught 2 touchdowns.

The G-Day defense played like beasts, as Prince Miller and Asher Allen wrecked havoc on Central’s quarterback Dan LeFevour. Big ups go to lineman Demarcus Dobbs who intercepted a pass and ran it back for a touchdown. The Bulldogs’ schedule intensifies as the travel to Columbia, South Carolina to take on the Gamecocks.
