Sporadic Blogger

My June posts have been sporadic at best due to the fact that the month of June has been extremely busy. Dr. Smiles and I kicked the month off with an astounding showing in the San Diego Rock-n-Roll Marathon. After two days of rest, Mom and Bean made their first visit to the Cream City, which result in lots of sightseeing and Cream City exclusive food tasting. While Mom left, Bean stayed, and we kicked off the month of the Afro, as both Bean and I sported matching hairdos. Needless to say, we engaged in plenty of bike riding, football throwing, basketball trick shots, videogames, and too many kung fu movies to count. It definitely the most fun I’ve had in a long time. I know I’m bias, but Bean is the coolest teenager on the planet.

At the end of June, we (Dr. Smiles, Bean, and I) traveled to the Peach State for three totally different reasons. Dr. Smiles travel to visit her pregnant sister. Bean traveled to visit Grandma and the rest of the family, and I traveled to a law conference at the Omni Hotel in Atlanta. The Georgia trip was amazing and reinforced my love and affection for the Peach State. I’ve traveled far and near, but there’s something special about Georgia that’s hard to explain, but always experienced.

As July kicks off, I’m back in Cream City while Dr. Smiles and Bean remain in Georgia. Summer in the Cream City is always special, with its million and on festivals and mild summer weather.
