Packer Backer

Wisconsin is without a doubt Packer country. Although they ultimately fell to the New York Giants tonight, the entire State of Wisconsin has had Packer Mania! Every since the playoffs started, the lead story on the nightly news has related to the boys in green and one new channel even added 15 extra minutes to its broadcast to discuss the Packers. It’s really a beautiful thing to see the entire state stand behind the hometown team. Swamps and I went to the mall on several occasions, and I promise we saw men, women, children, and animals wearing Packer gear. It was almost surreal.

In my heart and my outward display, I’ll always be an Atlanta Falcons fan, but from now on, they’ll be a place in my heart for the Green Bay Packers.
