I didn’t get to see Georgia romp Troy as the game wasn’t on national TV and I wasn’t about the pay the UGA Athletic Department any extra money to listen to the game on the school’s website. Apparently, Knowshon Moreno continued to dominate, rushing for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns. I hate that both Kregg Lumpkin and Thomas Brown got hurt, but this guy was third on the depth chart and if they were healthy, he probably wouldn’t be putting up these types of numbers because he wouldn’t be on the filed. Moreno has 1,003 yards on the season and he’s Georgia’s first 1,000-yard rusher since Musa Smith in 2002. Quarterback Matthew Stafford was 17 of 29 passing for 217 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.
Georgia plays Auburn next week in the “South’s Oldest College Rivalry”. The Bulldogs have to win in order to go the SEC Championship game. This will be a good and intense game. The Dawgs will have to come out and execute.
