T.I. Allegedly Arms Up

Living life in the streets can be difficult, especially when you’re a multi-millionaire and a rapper with affections for slumming it in the impoverished ghetto. As result, the rapper takes steps to insure his security by making his car bullet proof; he hires security and if you’re rapper T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., you allegedly send your bodyguard to buy three machine guns and two silencers. The only problem, the bodyguard allegedly bought the weapons from an undercover Alcohol Tobacco Firearms (ATF) agent.

The AJC reports that the bodyguard reportedly tried to buy an Ingram, Model M-10, 9mm machine gun; a SWD Inc., Model M-11 9mm machine gun, and a H&K, Model SP89, 9 mm machine gun on behalf of T.I. After realizing his mistake, the bodyguard reportedly turned informant and give federal agents enough information so they could obtain a search warrant for T.I.’s College Park, Georgia home.

Federal agents reportedly found a shock pile of automatic weapons. Normally, these weapons would probably be legal, but since T.I. is a convicted felon, he is banned from possessing any type of weapons.
