#11 Georgia 12, South Carolina 16

Just when Georgia fans thought we were taking steps to climb into the top 10, South Carolina upset the Bulldogs in a defensive battle. Neither team put on an offensive clinic, but both teams delivered hard hits.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford went 19 of 44 for 213 yards and 1 interception. Stafford still shows inexperience, but I think when he matures as a player and gets throws behind a solid offensive line, he’ll have an opportunity to be a special player. Running back Knowshon Moreno continues to impress me as a player, rushing for 104 yards. Moreno has explosive speed and you can tell that he’s giving 100% on every play. I know Coach Richt likes to use a running back rotation, but if Moreno continues his exciting play, I think Moreno should be the featured back.

Georgia plays Western Carolina next week.
