Today I leave the comfortable confines of the Carpet Capital and travel to Brew City to visit Swamps. This is my first visit to Brew City since last year, so I’m excited about seeing her new place and exploring the city. Surprisingly or maybe not surprisingly depending on your perspective, Milwaukee is a culturally diverse city and offers tons of educational and fun activities. For instance, Swamps and I have already penciled in a visit to Discovery Park, a new museum conveniently located on Lake Michigan, we’ll probably hit up at least one international eatery, and see what other trouble we can get into.
Did you know that Milwaukee’s other nickname is Cream City? The nickname Cream City doesn’t originate from the large number of diary products circulating through the city, but rather originates from the high number of buildings with cream color bricks.
