It seems like the month of October has been all about travel. First, two trips to the Classic City to cheer on my beloved University of Georgia Bulldogs; second, a much needed trip to Beer City to visit my beloved Swamps; third, I travel to River City to visit Swamps at a research conference. This is my first official visit to Memphis, Tennessee. I say first official visit because my family and I traveled through Memphis once on our way to Gatlinburg, Tennessee; however, we didn’t stop, so it probably doesn’t count.
Unfortunately, this will probably be a short trip because Swamps will be in seminars all weekend and I won’t reach the River City until Saturday morning; however, we are planning on touring Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley, and other tourist sites. In case you’re wondering, yes, I’ll be watching the Georgia – Florida game.

Yet again Memphis seems to have escaped you, at least I got 2 partial visits this weekend from my favorite finacee and you got many more miles traveled--if only there was a frequent driver program you could enroll in!
I know, Memphis escaped me again, but seeing you was worth it. Thanks for being the best.
