4 of 5

The baby bird Atlanta Hawks are flying high because they’ve won four of their last five games. Atlanta has beat NBA powerhouses San Antonio, Cleveland, New York, and Denver. The Hawks’ overall record is 5 of 17, but at least their showing some heart. I’ve had an opportunity to watch parts of several games this season, and they all follow this trend: the Hawks are either leading at halftime by multiple points or their down by two points. Atlanta has a terrible third quarter, where they don’t score and turn the ball over. The Hawks end up losing my twenty. Big ups the young Hawks Josh Childress, Al Harrington, Joe Johnson, Tyronne Lue, Josh Smith, and Head Coach Mike Woodson for pulling some complete games together.
