Florida v. Ohio State (Again)

Monday’s NCAA title game will be the first time two schools have played for the football and basketball national championships in the same academic and calendar year. The Florida Gators beat the Ohio State Buckeyes in the BCS title game 41-14, in a lopsided victory. Here are three storylines fueling Monday’s game.

  1. The national title game will be held in Atlanta, the capital of the south, and a city where everyday is an opening day.

  2. Florida hopes to repeat as NCAA champions. If they repeat, the Gators would’ve won three national titles in two sports in under two years.

  3. Ohio State hopes to get some revenge over Florida. When the two teams played earlier in the season, Florida won 86-60.

As much as I hate to do this; I’m picking the Florida Gators over the Ohio State Buckeyes in a close game.
