On Thursday, March 8, the Walt Disney Company announced it has started production on a feature animated musical fairy tale titled the “The Frog Princess,” which will be set in New Orleans and feature the Walt Disney Studio’s first African-American princess. Her name is Maddy and her film is set to be release in 2009.
