Congratulations to the UGA men's basketball team for making the NCAA tournament. Unfortunately, their participation was one and done as they suffer a 68-65 lost to Washington. The Bulldogs trailed most of the game, but the team continued to play hard and actually had an opportunity to tie the game at the buzzer.
Georgia finished the season 21-12 and spent a portion of the season ranked. Additionally, the team had signature wins against top ranked Kentucky and Vanderbilt. Coach Mark Fox has the program heading in the right direction, but he'll need to continue recruiting top tier talent and work on developing consistency as the team went through spurts of high turnovers and missed assignments. Moreover, the Bulldogs must improve in closing teams out. Georgia routinely built big leads only to give them away.
