Vick and Falcons Settles

The Atlanta Falcons settled its claim against former quarterback Michael Vick. According to bankruptcy reports Vick will either pay the Dirty Birds $6.5 million or $7.5 million depending on the ruling of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. If the court rules in the Birds’ favor, then Vick will pay the $7.5 million, and if the court rejects the Falcons’ claim, Vick will pay the $6.5 million.

Vick is scheduled to be released to home confinement on May 20, 2009, and scheduled for full release on July 20, 2009. While released, Vick will be on electronic monitoring and only allowed to leave home for activities approved by his probation officer. For Vick’s sack, I hope NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell reinstates him as soon as possible so he can start making money and start gaining control of his increasing debt.
