Congratulations go out to my 13 year old brother Bean who recently earned his black belt in tae kwon-do. Mom reports that he did an amazing job on his final form test and that she is really proud of him. Although I didn’t see Bean’s final test, he did subsequently show me his black belt test form and I was impressed with his timing and ability. He looked like a total bad butt and if I saw him in a dark alley, I definitely wouldn't want to mess with him. When asked about his accomplishment, Bean said, "I like it. I have more respect for people and hard work." Additionally, he said, "it makes me feel good."
