The WNBA comes to Atlanta in 2008 with the inaugural season of the Atlanta Dream. James Madison guard Tamera Young (pictured) became the Dream’s first ever draft-pick at number 8 overall. I honestly don’t follow the WNBA, but I’m happy that Atlanta got a WNBA team because it gives the city, especially the young women of the city, another avenue to watch athletic competition. Atlanta Dream
