Whatever Happened to Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson, otherwise known as K.J., played point guard for the Phoenix Suns and helped them reach the NBA finals in 1992-93. I always liked K.J. because he was one of the smaller guys in the league, but he had an amazing first step off the dribble, a solid jump shot, and great court vision.

K.J. is one of only four players in NBA history to have averaged 20.0 points and 10.0 assist per game in three different seasons. He was a three time All-Star and on March 7, 2001; the Suns inducted K.J. into their Ring of Honor and retired his uniform number 7.

K.J. is currently running for mayor of his hometown of Sacramento, California.
