Bulldogs’ Bounced

The Bulldogs’ magical run came to an abrupt end as they lost to Xavier 73 – 61. Most people predicted that Georgia would get stomped, but Georgia played tough defense and maintained the lead for a majority of the game. Unfortunately, the magic fizzed out midway through the second half, as Xavier seemed to get every break and was good enough to take advantage of them. Congratulations go out to Coach Dennis Felton, co-captains Dave Bliss and Sundiata Gaines, and the rest of the Bulldogs team for not quitting on the season. It would’ve been so easy for the team to quit and the tank the SEC tournament, but these guys battled the adversity, played tough and went from worst to first and earned the right to play in the NCAA tournament.
