Today is National Signing Day and yesterday’s high school football superstars’ start their long and difficult journey toward becoming today’s college football superstars. There’s a part of me that wants to get excited about National Signing Day, especially when the Bulldogs sign a highly regarded high school players, but then there’s another part of me that says, don’t get too excited until he makes his impact on the field. Unfortunately, some of these guys may never play a down of college football due to ineligibility, injuries, off the field problems, or they never advance in the dept chart. Hopefully, everyone listed will cherish their time in red and black and live their dream of becoming a college football superstar.
