Hotlanta

Sometimes city nickname miss the mark, but the Atlanta nickname, “Hotlanta”, hits the mark this week as temperatures have hit the 100 degree mark for the last three days. The heat is so dry and hot; it’s like you’re in an oven. It’s so bad that the people on the news are saying, “don’t go outside unless you have to because of the heat and the poor air quality is bad.” Unfortunately, I haven’t heeded their warning because I’ll only be home for two weeks and I have lots to see and do as I prepare for the big day. For those counting, only seven days of single life remain, then as my dad likes to say, “I’ll be an old married man.”
