The Atlanta Hawks made an incredible home statement tonight with a hard fought 99 – 93 win over the Detroit Pistons. This was an impressive win for the Baby Birds because they not only took a fourth quarter lead, the maintained it, and they closed the game out. The game ball goes to returning Josh Smith who had a late game shot block of Rip Hamilton and a game clinching 3-pointer with 10.7 seconds left in the game. Smith finished with 5 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assist, and 3 blocks. Joe Johnson continued his case for an all-star birth with 34 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assist, 1 steal.I was supposed to be at the game with Wubya, but something came up, so he had to represent the crew with Bets. Josh Smith is pictured.
