The USA Today announced their preseason top 25. College coaches are the voters and the USA Today poll will factor into the final BCS rankings. My beloved Georgia Bulldogs are ranked 14th in the preseason poll. I think this is a great starting point for UGA because it puts them slightly under the radar so they’re not hampered with high expectations if they start the season slow because they lack an established starting quarterback and it gives them lots of potential to gain enough momentum for a spot in the National Title game because they have to play #6 Auburn, #8 Florida, #23 Tennessee. The possibly will play #9 LSU or #24 Alabama. Additionally, UGA will play Georgia Tech, who plays #3 Notre Dame, #11 Miami, #16 Virginia Tech, and #18 Clemson. If Tech upsets any of their opponents, then Tech’s value goes up and Georgia benefits from playing a “tougher” opponent. GO DAWGS!
