Black Stars Shine Bright

The U.S. Men’s Soccer team put up a valiant effort in their game against Ghana, but fail short 2 – 1. The lost to Ghana ends their run in the World Cup and sends them back home to watch the rest of the tournament with their families. According to Miguel Lebanon, the U.S. was in a position to win the match, but waited too late to push the tempo. He thought they lacked urgency, especially considering this was a must win match. On a positive note, Miguel did report that some players showed some promise for future cups, especially substitute Eddie Johnson and sole goal scorer Clint Dempsey.
