My computer's sick again. Recently, it's been cutting off on me as I work, causing me great frustration and causing me to retype numerous paragraphs. After countless headaches, I decided it was time to get her fixed. I cashed in my extended warranty in hopes that the fine computer people will fix her. Before I can ship her off, the helpdesk wants me to troubleshoot whether the problem is hardware related or software. In an effort to do this, I've been instructed to let my computer sit in the bios mode for 24 hours. According to them, if the computer shuts off in the bios mode, then I have a hardware problem, but if it doesn't, then I have software problem. Three hours to go.
In case you're wondering, I'm typing this entry from the SLC, my new home during exams. It's open 24 hours, has great lighting, big tables, lots of computers, and tasty vending machine food. Yum, yum.
