26 and 56

The Atlanta Hawks season is finally over. They finished a whooping 26 and 56, a thirteen game improvement from last season’s campaign. That’s a big improvement for a young team like the Baby Birds who lack defensive depth and a big man in the middle. Joe Johnson proved he was worth the money, Josh Smith showed he’s on his way to being the new human highlight reel, and the rest of the crew showed glimpses of a team that’s one or two players away from being an eighth seed playoff team. Good improvement guys! I’m interested to see what off season moves they make.
