Last night I traveled to the ROC along with SoCal and Paulito Red to watch our younger cousin Brit Meat perform in the muscial Beauty and the Beast. Brit Meat played a villager and a napkin, and she was amazing. Not only can she act, but she can sing and dance. Hollywood watch out, she may be next Raven.
The other cast members did a great job and I wish the essemble best wishes as they travel to Savannah, Georgia for the annual Thesipian conference. The Beauty and the Best will be feature musical for the conference. If you didn't know, there group is kind of a big deal.
That's one good thing about Conyers, all three high schools have great fine arts and sports programs, and my family has held all three schools down at one time or another. Brit Meat, The Shad, and Dani currently hold Rockdale High down, I held down Salem High back in the day, and Bruce LeRoy and C.L. Smooth held down Hertiage High. I guess you could say, we're a big a deal!
