Panthers Strike Back
The Atlanta Falcons have owned the Carolina Panthers 11 out of the last 12 times they’ve played, but not today. The Panthers struck back in a big way winning 24 – 6 with killer defense. Michael Vick got stacked four times, a season high, and threw two interceptions. Offensively, the Falcons just couldn’t get anything going. Vick went 17 of 35 for 171 yards and rushed for 36. Warrick Dunn rushed for a hard fought 36 yards; tight end Alge Crumpler had one of his worst games of the year, dropping several passes. He ended up with 52 receiving yards. Even Todd Peterson struggled; he missed his first field goal of the season, but it was 49 yards, so you can’t blame him for that. He did make 2 field goals.

i dont know if you will hear this on any radio or sports show but the falcons just got the ***** beat out of them. the panthers dominated defensive line of scrimmage. the faclons defense played well for most of the game but the offense could not get anything going. now its going to be a real struggle for the birds to get into the wildcard spot.
I have faith - the Falcons will have back-to-back winning seasons and make the playoffs.
