The Vickless Atlanta Falcons gave the defending Super Bowl Champions all they could handle in a tough 31 - 28 loss. This Patriots win was like all others - kicker Adam Vinatieri kicks the winning field goal with seconds remaining to close the game out.
Matt Schaub established himself as a solid backup going 18 of 34 for 298 yards and 3 touchdowns and zero interceptions. He showed lots of confidence and made excellent decisions. Although I would've prefered Vick; I think Schaub did a great job against the world champs.
The more important thing to come out of this game - the Atlanta Falcons can play football without Michael Vick. In the past this hasn't been the case. When Vick went down, they went down. Now, we just have to get them to win without Vick, but hopefully they won't have to do to much of that because I'm hoping Vick will be back by next week.

wow i dont even know what to say about this years team. the atlanta falcons can actually play without Vick and had a very impressive comeback agianst the Pats. Big props to my boy Patrick Pass of the Patriots he scored a TD and had some big plays on offense. Go Tucker Tigers"
Yeah, your boy was running hard on his touchdown. I thought he was going to get stopped at the line, but then he plowed through.
