#5 Georgia 27, #8 Tennessee14

Critics claimed that UGA hadn’t played anyone of consequence. Perhaps, the critics were trying to suggest that Georgia was a lucky #5, well today, UGA traveled to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee to beat the Volunteers in front of 108,470 people. Today, Georgia showed the world that they have the heart, skill, and desire to be considered a serious National Title contender.

Quarterback D.J. Shockley went 16 of 27 for 207 yards with one interception and rushed 11 times for 51 yards. Georgia running backs Thomas Brown had 94 yard and a touchdown and Danny Ware rushed for 29 yards. Big ups go to fullback Brannan Sutherland who rushed for his first touchdown, kicker Brandon Coutu who had two field goals, and the game ball goes to Thomas Flowers for his 54 yard punt return for a touchdown.

Georgia has silenced their critics. Now they must finish the drill.

Next Week: Georgia travels to Nashville to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores.

Its amazing how the Dawgs get no love from the national media. the beat very convicingly a top ten school and they get no air play on any of the college football shows other than a single highlight and the score. i cant wait to see how badly the BCS screws the Dawgs over.

Preach on brotha! The National media hates the red and black - that's UGA and the Falcons suckas. My only question - who has USC beat this season? How many PAC-10 teams are in the Top 25?

S. I have an even better question. how many Pac 10 teams are in the top 10?

The correct answer would be 1 - USC. Do I get a prize?
