1 Year, 8 Days

October 26 marks the one year and 8 day anniversary of Perspectives in Black! This calls for celebrations - I said celebrate readers. I want you to stop what you're doing right now; ball your left hand into a fist, and pump two times in honor of PiB! Honestly, in the beginning I wasn't sure about this blogging thing - I thought it was kind of weird, posting random thoughts and comments on the internet. But two of my friends who no longer have blogs, Legally Brunette and Lex Communis, showed me theirs, so I thought I'd try it out as a distraction from law school.

After a couple of months I warmed up to blogging. Now I can't imagine not doing it. Overall, I think blogging provides me with a good balance from the hustle and flow of typical law school thinking and writing. It gives me an opportunity to express myself in a different medium and allows me to talk about the "lighter" subjects in life, and share a little bit of myself with world.
