#13 Georgia 48, #18 Boise State 13

The wait is over - the Georgia Bulldogs are back between the Hedges! The new look dawgs took the field in an impressive debut. My only question - who are the Davids? Hopefully, this question will continue to go unanswered. Shockley finally got his chance to prove that he's been ready for the big time. He went 16 of 24 for 289 yards and five touchdowns. He rushed five times for 85 yards and a touchdown. Shockley looked relaxed and accurate and the Georgia three-headed rushing monster - Brown, Ware, Shockley rushed for 180 yards.

The Georgia "G-Unit" defenese looked dangerous. They recorded four interceptions (Tony Taylor, Dannell Ellerbe, Tra Battle, and Greg Blue) and recovered two fumbles. Boise State looked overmatched.

Next Week: UGA plays their SEC season opener against Steve Spuirrer's South Carolina Gamecocks. Posted by Picasa

Great game the Dawgs win BIG. Hopefully the Dawgs will break the top ten with the Oklahoma loss.
