The American Bowl

Football season is here. The NFL pre-season kicked off as the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Indianapolis Colts 27 to 21 in Tokyo, Japan in the American Bowl. The game was played in front of 43,203 screeming fans. The game featured two the NFL's hottest quarterbacks - Michael Vick and Peyton Manning, but Falcons back-up QB Matt Schaub stole the show.



Schaub completed 11 of 13 passes for 115 yards and threw 2 touchdown passes. He was named game MVP. Other Falcons notes: Peerless Price had 3 catches for 41 yards, Jason Wright caught 1 touchdown, Brian Finneran caught 1 touchdown, and first round draft pick caught 1 pass.
